Location: Fisher Park Historic District; Greensboro, NC Full Backyard Guest House - 300sqft Contractor: The Kamp Group Photography: Anna Routh Barzin Nestled behind a 1900 Dutch Colonial home in the Fisher Park Historic District of Greensboro, Fort Knox began as hand drawn plan in the back of a sandwich shop, which the actual structure deviated from ever so slightly. Fort Knox is named after the little boy who lives in the home and showcases his fun and wild personality. The guest house is home to custom millwork, building a king murphy bed, a kitchenette with exotic quartz tops, a vintage and colored refrigerator, and a full bathroom showcasing beautiful wallpaper, wall hung marble sink and antique unlacquered brass fixtures.
The indoor-outdoor bar was built for entertaining and to easily view the projector screen for an old school "drive in theater" feel. Fort Knox is known as the go-to hangout spot, hosting birthday parties and pizza parties for years to come.
